NSE doubles refresh rate of NIFTY index amid growth in high frequency trading

The Indian exchange group’s flagship Nifty 50 index, which has been disseminated live at a frequency of 500 milliseconds (0.5 second), will now be disseminated at a frequency of 250 milliseconds (0.25 second), to accommodate high-frequency trading.
