Nodal Exchange sees 4% surge in July power derivatives volumes

The European Energy Exchange's subsidiary last month recorded power futures volume of 198.5 TWh, up 4% from July 2025, whereas power futures open interest stood at 1.475 billion MWh, representing $173bn (£129bn) in notional value.
