Indian retail equity derivatives losses drop by 18% in FY26 - SEBI

India’s ministry of finance said that there was a decline in net losses of retail traders in the equity derivatives segment from ₹1.12 trillion (£8.7 billion) in FY25 to ₹916 billion in the financial year ending March 2026, citing Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) analysis.
