Coinbase, Robinhood seek CFTC’s guidance on prediction market rules

US-based prediction markets venues have asked the US futures and swaps watchdog to strengthen its framework to address event contracts susceptible to manipulation, while asking for equal protection standards for customers trading directly on an exchange or through a broker.
