The exchange saw trading volume for its offshore Chinese government bond derivatives climb in its debut month, signalling appetite among international institutional investors for hedging exposure to the world’s second-largest debt market.

The move is part of the UAE-registered cryptocurrency exchange’s broader effort to evolve into a multi-asset financial super app, bringing crypto, equities, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and derivatives onto a single platform.

S&P Dow Jones Indices (DJI) said the index offering meets growing demand for robust digital asset indices by pairing S&P DJI's institutional benchmark expertise with Kaiko's 24/7 digital asset data platform and exchange connectivity.
