The UK's Investment Association has appointed Guy Sears – the association's director of risk, compliance and legal – as interim CEO following the departure of Daniel Godfrey who resigned by mutual agreement with the board this week after a number of asset management firms led by Schroders and M&G refused to renew their membership.
