FOW is pleased to announce the winners of the Asia Awards for 2026, celebrating excellence in the regional futures and options markets.
Among the host of winners, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) scooped both the Asian exchange and chief executive award for Bonnie Chan (pictured).
“Hong Kong’s markets are demonstrating renewed strength, and our focus is now on execution,” Chan said in a video acceptance at the Thursday night ceremony at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Hong Kong. “That means sustaining the momentum and making our markets even more competitive for the benefit of the investing public, building the multi-asset ecosystem that will support our next phase of growth and strengthening our connectivity to the major markets and liquidity pools of the future.”
The awards recognised the growth in the exchange group's offering and the wider multi-asset strategy that has borne dividends as positive sentiment returned to the region.
Congratulations also go to Jeremy Ang, group chief executive of Straits Financial Group for picking up a well deserved lifetime achievement award, giving a speech at the event.
