CME Europe told clients the FX schemes will not be renewed at the end of March
CME Group plans to terminate the
market-maker scheme that underpins the most actively traded products on
CME Europe, fueling concerns over the future of the
US group’s London-based exchange.
CME told clients on Wednesday it will
terminate the market-maker scheme for the CME Europe's monthly
foreign exchange futures contracts, the European
products since its launch in April 2014, prompting a sell-off
in open interest, according to sources.
