The Commission delayed implementation of the rules in June this year
The European Parliament said it plans to
fast-track implementation of the uncleared margin rules under
new European regulation, after implementation was delayed
earlier this year.
In an announcement on the European
Parliament Committee on Economic and Monetary
Affairs’ official Twitter account, it said that
"no objections were raised" by the committee’s
MEPs to fast-track the adoption of the European Market
Infrastructure Regulation (Emir) uncleared margin rules.
