Around 50 staff globally will be affected by the unit’s closure, said State Street
State Street is set to pull out of its
global futures trading business, following a strategic review
by the bank that started in January.
A spokesperson for the US custodian
confirmed to FOW, and added that 50 employees globally would be
affected by the closure, though adding that some of the team
will be retained in other areas of the business.
