Speaking at the Swiss Futures and Options
Association’s Burgenstock Conference on Wednesday,
Phupinder Gill, chief executive of CME Group, said, "We feel
very strongly about a vertically integrated model to the extent
that the IP [intellectual property] in that model was built by
us, the open interest was built by us… for OTC where the
IP was built somewhere else we are wide open."
