Krulik named COO of NYPC

Ira Krulik will become chief operating officer at New York Portfolio Clearing on July 12.

The clearing house, a joint venture between NYSE Euronext and the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp, is due to open in the third quarter.

Krulik was co-head of futures sales and marketing in Credit Suisse’s prime services division. Before that he worked at Merrill Lynch, where he helped develop the agency clearing division and managed the financial futures and options client service team.

Separately, Kevin Murray became director of business operations at NYPC on June 1. He joins from UBS Securities, where he was a director of North American clearing operations.
