HKEx reappoints chairman, picks CFO

The Hong Kong government has appointed Ronald Joseph Arculli chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing for a further two years, until the exchange’s annual general meeting in April 2012.

HKEx has also hired Samuel Wong as head of finance and administration. He starts on July 2. He was previously finance director at Hutchison Port Holdings. Wong has also been an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto, and in corporate and investment banking at Bank of Nova Scotia.
