Angberg joins Pimco

Pacific Investment Management Company (Pimco), the US bond fund manager, has hired Mikael Angberg, former head of Nordic equity derivatives sales at BNP Paribas, as head of business development in the Nordic region.

He will be based in the firm’s London office, reporting to Mihale Burns, head of Pimco’s Nordic business.

Angberg has previously been an executive director for Nordic institutional sales at Goldman Sachs’s asset management arm.

In a varied career, he has also worked for Axa Investment Managers, as well as spending seven years at Cern, the Centre Européenne pour la Recherche Nucléaire.
