More senior hires at NYSE Liffe US

NYSE Liffe US has appointed three new independent directors to its board. They are Andrea Corcoran, adjunct professor of futures regulation at Georgetown Law Center; Ronald Filler, professor of law at the New York Law School; and Todd Petzel, chief investment officer of Offit Capital Advisors.

Corcoran founded Align International, a consultancy focusing on financial regulation in the public and private sectors. Filler was managing director in the capital markets prime services division of Lehman Brothers. Petzel was a founding partner and chief investment officer of Azimuth Asset Management.

And separately, NYSE Amex Options also has a new CEO – a newly created position. Steven Crutchfield joins from Matlock Capital, where he was COO, supervising all trading, quantitative research and systems work from 2004 to 2009. He will report to Ed Boyle, head of US options.
