Nasdaq launches iPad app

Coming soon to an Apple enthusiast near you. Nasdaq OMX has launched a portfolio manager application for Apple’s new iPad, similar to its existing product for the iPhone.

The app offers real time price data for all US, Nordic and Baltic stocks. Users can create real or virtual portfolios, monitor lists of stocks and even overlay performance charts for technical analysis.

“Nearly 40 years ago we launched the first all-electronic exchange, a revolutionary technology in the exchange space,” said Anna Ewing, the bourse’s chief information officer.“At Nasdaq OMX, we are proud to offer innovative visualisation capabilities for stockmarket enthusiasts to view and engage with the stockmarket in real time.”
