Mandl, who is vice president of investments at Prudential Bache Commodities’s global commodities group, was second vice chairman of the KCBT in 2008 and first vice chairman in 2009.

The first vice chairman traditionally assumes the chairmanship of the KCBT the following year.

Michael Simmons, an individual member, has automatically advanced from being second vice chairman in 2009 to first vice chairman in 2010. Steven Campbell has been elected as second vice chairman.

The exchange also elected John Legg and David Gibson to two year terms on the board of directors. They join Daniel Maltby and Michael Dean, who are serving the second year of two year terms.

The KCBT, one of the world’s largest agricultural commodities exchanges, is operated by its members. The most recent auction for a Class A seat, which entails voting rights to the exchange’s board, took place on January 14 and raised $310,000.
