Sunil Hirani, one of the ex-Deutsche Bank CDS salespeople who founded Creditex in March 1999, is stepping down.

No replacement has been announced for his former position where he works as a senior vice-president and corporate development officer.

Former president and chief operating officer John Grifonetti is also leaving, but will remain at the broker platform in an advisory capacity.

ICE has promoted Grant Biggar from managing director to president of Creditex, while Sophia Corona has been made chief operating officer. Biggar formerly headed Creditex’s European and Asian businesses, having joined the company in 2000.

Corona joined Creditex as chief financial officer in 2007, and played a leading role in integrating Creditex with ICE after the takeover.
