Burgoyne joins Options Industry Council to drum up new investors

The Options Industry Council, which represents the US equity and index options industry, has appointed Joseph Burgoyne as director of institutional and retail marketing. The position has been created to support institutional and retail educational programmes promoting the use of listed equity options.

The Options Industry Council, which represents the US equity and index options industry, has appointed Joseph Burgoyne as director of institutional and retail marketing. The position has been created to support institutional and retail educational programmes promoting the use of listed equity options.

Burgoyne will represent OIC by participating in panel discussions, presenting educational seminars and working with the media. He will also be responsible for assisting in developing options curricula, web content, advertising, academic studies and partnerships.

Burgoyne previously worked as a director for IVolatility.com, a derivative and data analysis company. He has also led the floor operations at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange for Van der Moolen Options USA, managing risk, making markets and managing trading.
