LME said phone-based trading will be 25% cheaper than trading on screen, LMEselect
The London Metal Exchange has said it will
launch its first precious metals contracts on June 5, the
launch has secured the backing of four more firms as clearing
members and its fees will be cheaper for phone trading than on
The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing-owned
firm said in a statement on Thursday its gold and silver
futures contracts will become available for trading on June 5,
in line with earlier guidance the products would launch in the
second quarter of 2017.
