Regulator has seen many changes in senior management since Trump's win
The US Commodity Futures Trading
Commission (CFTC) has appointed three new division directors in
the latest round of changes at the top of the US futures
Acting chairman Christopher Giancarlo has
appointed Amir Zaidi to lead the CFTC’s division
of market oversight. Zaidi has been employed at the futures
regulators in various roles, including legal counsel and policy
advisor in Giancarlo's office when he was a commissioner. In
the division of market oversight, Zaidi served as team leader
for the development and implementation of swap execution
facility (Sef) rules.
