Exchange said its Shenzhen Stock Connect would go live in November
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing chief
executive officer Charles Li has said the exchange group plans
to launch a mainland China metals market in Qianhai before May
"The Qianhai Exchange, which will
replicate the LME on the mainland in China, will be a spot
exchange to serve the real economy in China, it will allow
Chinese players to invest in credible assets. We will be
launching it next year before May," Charles Li, chief executive
of HKEx said his keynote introducing a China-focused seminar
during LMEweek in London on Monday.
