Market still awaits publication of two RTS level two specifications under Mifid II
The European Securities and Markets Authority has issued a
consultation paper on its proposals for the introduction of a
non-equity consolidated tape under Mifid II.
The paper said the proposed consolidated tape (CT) would
provide continuous, real-time data on trading volume and price
for contracts across different venues. Two major themes of the
consultation paper are the specialisation of the CT according
to asset class and the criteria to include trading venues and
approved publication arrangements (APAs) in the tape.
