The London exchange began consulting on its warehousing rules in late 2013
The London Metal Exchange hopes to draw a
line under a three year consultation into the contentious issue
of warehousing by introducing next year a charge-cap for firms
using its warehouses.
The LME said in a statement on Wednesday
it will introduce a charge-cap from April 1 2017 based on a
calculation of the average highest charges for its financial
years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017.
