Singapore Exchange has passed another
milestone in its planned acquisition of shipping market the
Baltic Exchange by securing shareholder approval to buy the
London-based shipping market.
SGX said in a statement on Monday:
"Singapore Exchange (SGX) is pleased to announce that the
shareholders of The Baltic Exchange Limited have today approved
all the resolutions required in connection with the proposed
scheme of arrangement for the acquisition of the Baltic
