Slow month in US options trading underlines weak August across the globe
Options trading volumes slumped again in
August, marking the slowest two months' of activity in four
years, according to new research from the Tabb Group.
The Tabb Group said August this year was
another month of low market volatility, which drove volumes in
US listed options down. The US listed options market
experienced its slowest two months in four years, the research
group said on Friday.
