CME Clearing received approval in Japan and Singapore earlier this year
The Chicago Mercantile Exchange has become
the second large global clearing house to be granted regulatory
approval by the Hong Kong regulator in a week.
The Securities and Futures Commission of
Hong Kong has granted the US exchange giant permission to
provide over-the-counter clearing and settlement services, and
act as a central counterparty (CCP) in that jurisdiction.
