Energy exchange saw H1 revenue jump 34% on power derivatives trading
EEX Group has confirmed launch plans for
its new wind power futures product, with the new offering to be
available from October 4 after months of development.
The energy exchange said that the new wind
power futures contract will allow trading participants on the
EEX derivatives market will be able to hedge against volume
risks in the generation of wind power within the
German/Austrian market area.
