Ring trading has been taking place at its Essex disaster recovery site since July
The London Metal Exchange said it is set
to return to its Finsbury Square headquarters in the City next
week, more than a month after moving operations to its disaster
recovery sites due to a structural issue in the building.
The metals exchange said in a note to
members: "Reoccupation is expected to begin during the week of
August 29. The LME and LME Clear will continue to work from
their recovery sites in Chelmsford and Wapping until the end of
