Paris-based exchange stopped trading on Monday for more than three hours
European exchange group Euronext has said
the technical issue that caused a three hour closure of its
derivatives market on Monday was caused by a server error.
"Early in the morning it was detected that
servers supporting core components of Euronext derivatives
markets did not start as expected. Despite early involvement of
expert groups to resolve the issue, the resolution was delayed
to properly reboot systems and verify their resilience," a
spokesperson told FOW Tuesday.
