The London Metal Exchange said Friday it
will continue to run ring trading from its disaster recovery
site in Essex for another "two to three weeks" as work to
rectify a structural issue in the building that houses the
exchange in London continues.
"The LME has been informed by the building
manager and relevant contractors that the work required to
rectify the structural issue within the building that houses
the LME in London, as well as the necessary safety
investigation, is likely to continue for another two to three
weeks," said the exchange in a note to clients Friday.
