German exchange has given shareholders until August 12 to tender their shares
Deutsche Boerse is "confident" of securing
the support of more shareholders for its proposed merger with
the LSE after it extended the tender period to mid-August on
Friday, just days after breaching the required approval
The German exchange group on Tuesday July
26 hit the needed 60% approval threshold when
shareholders owning 60.35% tendered their shares in favour of
the deal before the deadline of midnight that day.
