Tullett Prebon picked on Tuesday CME's Pivot chat service as its preferred carrier
Tullett Prebon, the inter-dealer broker
talking to rival Icap about buying its voice brokerage unit,
has underlined its commitment to a model that marries the
benefits of telephone and screen-based brokerage.
Tullett, which has been in talks with
Icap about taking on its voice brokers since November last
year, has in recent years adopted a "hybrid" approach which
means brokers use phones and screens to secure the best prices
for its clients.
