Maher joined Baml in July after two years with Nomura and 12 years with CS
Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired
senior electronic trader Rob Maher as head of electronic
trading sales for the Americas, marking a major hire at a time
of regulatory uncertainty for US electronic traders.
Maher joined Baml in New York as managing
director earlier this month, according to sources.
A spokeswoman for the US investment bank
declined to comment on the hire.
