Shaun Lynn said he sees complementary and "economies of scale" deals ahead
Inter-dealer broker BGC Partners will look
at tactical acquisitions to plug gaps in its service as well as
larger deals to deliver scale by leveraging the
firm’s infrastructure, according to its president
Lynn told FOW that BGC’s
recent acquisition of Sunrise Brokers, a London-based broker
specialising in equity derivatives, is a good example of the
firm’s plan to tap specialist firms to complement
its existing brokerage service.
