Icap group chief executive Michael Spencer
said his firm will not be significantly affected Brexit as the
British inter-dealer broker reported strong quarterly trading
activity linked to the UK's shock vote to leave the European
"Icap is a global company with 60 offices
and only one is in London. Nex also has a mix, with TriOptima
in Stockholm, EBS in in Switzerland and voice brokers in New
York. We are struggling to think of services that would have to
be relocated. Unless new barriers are introduced with Brexit,
there won’t be significant effect on our
business," said Spencer on Wednesday.
