The number of Futures Commission Merchants has roughly halved since 2004
The top ten US clearing brokers saw their
businesses shrink in April, according to new data from the main
US futures regulator.
Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs) saw a
drop in customer assets held from March to April this year,
with only four of the world’s top ten clearing
brokers reporting a rise in client funds, according to data
from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
