Deutsche Boerse agreed to sell its subsidiary for $1.1 billion in March
Nasdaq has completed the acquisition of
the International Securities Exchange from Deutsche Boerse,
marking the latest change at the German exchange as it prepares
to merge with the LSE.
US-based exchange giant Nasdaq
completed the acquisition of the International Securities
Exchange (ISE), operator of three US options exchanges, from
the Deutsche Boerse for $1.1 billion.
Nasdaq acquired the three US options
exchanges ISE, ISE Gemini and ISE Mercury, which was launched in February of this year, as well
as ISE’s technology arms Longitude and PrecISE
Trade, and ISE ETF Ventures.
