Exchange said Digital Asset was its preferred partner for blockchain tech
The Australian Securities Exchange has
increased its stake in blockchain firm Digital Asset Holdings
and cut a deal with the start-up to act as ASX’s
partner on the development of post-trade technology.
ASX said in a statement on Wednesday it
had exercised its right to purchase further equity in the US
distributed ledger technology firm and has invested an
additional $7.16m for another 3.5% of the firm, taking its
stake to 8.5%.
