The two exchanges said CEGH contracts will be on Pegas in late 2016
Powernext and the Austrian Central
European Gas Hub have said they plan to establish a joint
venture to capture the Central and Eastern European gas
The two exchanges said on Monday they will
establish a joint company, Pegas Tech Gas Exchange Services
before the end of September, pending regulatory approval, a
spokesperson from the Central European Gas Hub (CEGH) told FOW.
Deutsche Boerse-owned Powernext will hold 51% of the shares,
and 49% of shares will be held by CEGH. Its managing director
will be Gottfried Steiner, the chief executive of CEGH.
