The US Commodity Futures Trading
Commission has proposed to include additional interest rate
swaps in the clearing requirement regulation.
The CFTC wants to amend regulation 50.4(a)
to require certain additional interest rate swaps to be cleared
by market participants through a registered derivatives
clearing organisation (DCO) or a DCO that has been exempted
