HSBC has promoted former director Jeremy
Steen to become the banking giant’s new Asian head
of derivatives clearing, replacing industry veteran Mehrdad
Farimani who left the firm in April.
Steen is now HSBC’s Hong
Kong-based head of derivatives clearing. He reports to Nicola
Pantone, the bank’s head of equity derivatives
institutional sales, Asia-Pacific, and Najib Lamhaouar, the
global head of over-the-counter and exchange-traded derivatives
