Paul Andrews said Iosco is working with Basel Committee on the leverage ratio
The new head of the world’s
top financial regulator has said Iosco will "step in" to tackle
the growing problem of the leverage ratio which is hurting the
world’s top futures clearing firms.
Paul Andrews, the new secretary general of
the International Organisation of Securities Commissions, said
on Wednesday his body is focused on the leverage ratio, which
is being handled by the Basel Committee on Banking
