ASX, Moex and Tocom report growth, while Euronext lagged behind peers
Euronext, the Australian Securities
exchange, the Moscow Exchange and the Tokyo Commodities
Exchange announced trading volumes, highlighting a mixed month
in the global markets.
Paris-based exchange Euronext reported an
average daily transaction value at €447 million
(£345 m), down 18.6% compared to May 2015. The
average daily volume on the exchange’s derivatives
market was down 14% year-on-year to 412,754 contracts. The
average daily volume on equity index derivatives was down 15.7%
to 195,333 contracts, while the average daily volume on
individual equity derivatives decreased 12.4% to with 187,298
