Reports from Schroders, ABN and SGX say commodities markets are improving
The commodities crisis that burned traders
and brokers in late 2015 and earlier this year is over,
according to reports from some top financial firms.
Schroders said in a research note on
Wednesday that the main commodities markets have turned the
corner and firms should start to invest again in commodities
Geoff Blanning, head of commodities at the
British fund manager, said: "Following five years of
devastatingly poor returns in the market, sentiment towards
commodities is at rock bottom, but it’s starting
to turn following the surge in the prices of a wide variety of
products since the beginning of the year."
