ASX deputy CEO said the exchange will decide on blockchain post trade in 2017
Blockchain firm Setl has launched its
first product, becoming one of the first companies to apply
distributed ledger technology in the market.
The OpenCSD platform is Setl's first
product and enables market players to use blockchain-based
technology for payments, settlement and clearing of financial
instruments across asset classes, the firm said. According to
the company, the blockchain technology has been benchmarked to
settle billions of transactions a day in real-time.
