LSE Group and Euronext had earlier announced the launch of weeklies
Spanish derivatives market MEFF has said
it will start trading weekly options on June 29, marking the
latest European market to launch this contract.
"A lot of participants have asked for
these shorter maturities, because they offer more risk control.
Other exchanges have launched weekly options and it is a
product that was well-received," said Clotilde Salmeron, chief
executive officer of MEFF.
