A panel of distributed ledger technology
experts at the FOW Post Trade event gave the audience a glimpse
into the future of finance on Wednesday, saying that the
technology does not have to mean the end of middle men in the

and exchanges would all be affected by distributed ledger
technology but the panel agreed the implementation of
distributed ledger technology in the back- and middle offices
doesn’t spell the end of clearing houses,
exchanges and other middle men.
