US markets OCC, Nasdaq and ISE reported divergent results for the month
Some of the world's top markets have
reported their April trading volumes, offering an early sign of
a mixed month compared to a busy first quarter of 2016.
The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC),
the main US option clearing house, reported a 2% improvement in
the total number of clearing contracts, to 339 million up from
331 million in April 2015. Average daily volume at the US
clearer was up 5% for the month, at 17,123,650 contracts.
