The US exchange group has had a trading hub in London since 2013
CBOE Holdings plans to open in July a
London office, the exchange group’s first base
outside of the US, as part of the US exchange
group’s broader effort to boost trading of its
flagship options contracts from outside of its home market.
The Chicago-based exchange said in a
quarterly earnings call on Friday it will open a London office
in July and plans to move business development veteran Matt
McFarland to Europe to spearhead the effort.
